K...more in depth about yesterday. Um...we arrived at 19b on schedual and the person next door muttered something under his breath about lesbians moving in, which cracked mum up. Phil and I painted the first coat (white) over the purple and then I took skel to Asda to get milk and supernoodles, I got bread and bleach and then hopped over the road to B&Q for some screws. I just wanted some screws and there were like a million different kinds. Why can't they just have "screws"? I think I got the right ones in the end though. They seemed to do the job. Forgot to mention that skel and I lost the car temporarily in Asda car park :}
So came back and ate food. Sophie was the only other person who turned up in the end, which was a pity, but never mind. Phil and I painted the second (yellow) coat on the walls and mum too sophie home. She came back just as we were finishing up. It was ultra hard work, only made better by music provided by Philip's laptop. It was in a painty room all day and we didn't get one drop of paint on it \o/
I fixed the bed slats to the bed frame with the screws and the bed seemed much more secure after. Phil and I put the furniture back and then went and cooled off in the nice, clean bathroom. I had a cool bath and washed my hair and came out feeling like a human being. I was rather disturbed by the layer of grit at the bottom of the bath though...I've never seen anything like it before. Put on clean clothes and then put my stuff in the room and once I was done I felt much more positive about it. Went home dead late..gone 8pm and didn't get home until just gone 10 cos traffic was bad. I was sooooo tired, just managed to watch the final 24 of s2. I can't believe they left it like that!
Collapsed in bed and fell asleep. Woke up this morning still tired and aching badly...stupid paint. Anyway, came into work where there are only 3 of us. Opened 172 letters today, a new personal record. Had lunch with mum in Giadinos which was lovely.
Just did my back to work interview with Peter for the 3 days they say I can't take as annual leave and was *very* short with him and not really pleasent. Can't help feeling this whole thing is just one big screw up. F'nar.
Trapper not a happy bunny.
Still, feel better for making Peter squirm a little, which reminds me of my funniest email of the morning from mamma in which she suggested that Peter was a fur (a mouse) It made me giggle. I can't imagine him as anything so interesting...having said that I'll probably find out he's into bondage at the weekends or something and when he says he's been swimming he's actually using his codeword for orgy or sex shop or something *giggle*
Aaaaagggghhhhh! The pain! It burns us precious!
