Weekend of Doom (Canterbury Edition)

Set off for Canters about Middayish only to get stuck on the M25 for 45 mins cos of an accident. Managed to get real drivers arm during this time, it's dark brown right now, will be whit eagain soon I think, but last night was red and very sore. Anyway, got to canters and went to Campus first where I checked in on irc (only for a couplea mins, honest ;)) and then tracked down foo^rah to town. Met them outside Safeway and then we went for quick drink in the big weatherspoons which I didn't know was there. Well you learn something new every day :P Foo brought me drinkage (fankoo :D) and then we went and pounced on Tiggs. Hvaing made our presence known to Tiggs I ended up following them round debinhams while they sorted out their wedding list. Was quite interesting really :) Hope they didn't mind my presence too much. From there, fudge shop (mmm...free sample) and another quick drink and then went and gotted Tiggs from work. Then back to hers. Jibbling happened which was cool and then went and dropped foo's car near Claires. I drove foo and rah back from there to Tiggs' from whence we departed for Curryage near westgate. Picked up a skel on our way (who was rather disorientated having had his ADSL cut off ealier in the day) Met other people outside curry place (Sophie and Ben and Azz and archmoo (I believe) and then Mithrandir joined later. Meal was nice and company was very good. Had fun despite lightheadedness most of the way thru.
From there we went to Westgate 'spoons where we was joined by a clarie \o/ Was too hot inside so rah and Clarie and I went and sat outside in the nice cool breeze. Eventaully dragged geeks away from the pub and they and the rest of us (being the non geek section - me and tiggs and rah and sophie and claire) went to the swings on St Stephens...not all of us made it that far, as Azz and Ben departed for the safety of their computers before we got there...Can't remember when Mithrandir left :/
Anyway, got to St Stephens and I collapsed on the grass and listened to the others play on the swings, which was cool. Even when I'm tired and dozing I like being around other people cos it makes me feel good to hear the others. Eventaully woke up enough to join in conversation some, not before I was "got" by foo. He tickled me :P
We eventually went our own seperate ways cos Rah was cold. I was just right but I think most people agreed with Rah. I think I may be just a freak. Got back to tiggs' where I ate a bread roll like I promised Rah cos I didn't eat giant amounts of dinner (tho I was a bit guarded as to how little until today)... Noticed how pale I was. Apparently was that colour most of the night, which is a pity cos usually I'm a much healthier colour and a lot bouncier. Fell asleep really quickly, tiggs' sofa really comfy. Woke up first too cold at 3 am tho, and then too hot at 5. Flippin' virus!
Was up early(ish) for church...yes I went :P
Well...yes. Lots of new people which is always scary for me and I was also quite lightheaded so I clammed up and answered in very short ways to questions from friendly people. Hope it didn't look too rude of me, just found the situation difficult. The music rocked. I liked. Being who I am I find it the way I best get in touch with my spiritual side and this was no exception really. Picked them up quite quickly and, well, was good.
Some bits, I suppose more given my previous experiences of church were, well, a bit odd, but interesting nonetheless. Yes, top marks for music :)
I also really liked the preacher who holds a rather interesting distinction in that he was the first person ever I've sat and listened to at church all the way thru, that is to say, my attention didn't wander...interesting.
It's all made me think some more anyway, which...well, may be a good thing, still not sure. There are other random thoughts in my head but they will have to come out only in time, and then only to certain people whom I feel are usually good to talk to about this stuff. It's nothing personal everyone, just kinda difficult sometimes for me is all.
Went from church to Tiggs' from where we grabbed her and drove to Safeway at Wincheap to get lunch-pizza. Was very nice (what i had was anyway ^.^) and Tiggs, Clarie and I went and pounced on an allan-birthday-monkey and a skel. Nert arrived also and Clarie bounced off and we went in to starbucks where I did possibly the stupidest thing I have for a while. I ate some chocolate brownie. I presumed it contained no nuts cos it didn't state that it did. I think now that it must have done cos I got a reaction. STarting with my face and eventually covering 90% of my body I developed Hives. I ended up stopping at service station to get allergy tablets and have shower to cool the irritation (interesting cos I had no towel...ended up with very wet clothes :/) Was nasty (interesting in that i had one on my leg that looked like South America) but mostly painful. Anyway, they've gone now.
After Starbucks we went shoe shopping for Tiggs. Found what we were after in Matalan, and then went and looked in PCWorld at shiny stuff and monkey purchased RAM. Nert got a monitor thingy. Then Maccy D's where we celebrated the monkeys birthday with burgers (well, I had a milkshake and a coke). Was cool. Dropped nert and allan and tiggs and skel at 19b and left them my bedding. Then started the drive home which was quite nasty. Kent show made certain road (forget which exactly) crawl along at about 5-10mph for most of it, the M20 was randomly stop-starting and then the hives thing made me have to stop off on the M25 services...then BIG MISTAKE! Came off M25 at J7...M23. For those of you who don't know, this is usually most direct way home. It is also the main road from Brighton and on a hot day can get quite full around 6:30ish as people are coming back from the coast...all this I knew...all this I forgot until I was sitting in traffic for a long time. Like 40mins worth of long time. Never again will I forget this information!
Got home to find mum had cleaned my room. She is a lovely mummy ^.^ Got cold, napped for a bit, ate dinner (1/2 a slice of pork and a potatoe and a half :/), napped a bit more, had a bath... THat bring sme to here I guess...

1) if I say I'm ok, I'm usually not and that is something I need to work on. I just have issues admitting weakness
2) hives are nasty mean and horrible
3) I will get foo back for tickling me. He must pay. As must rah for thinking that non contact tickling is funny :P

5) yay for seeing other friend people :) I missed you all. Silly canters being stuck so far away from me!

Hives and stuff
