lizziecYesterday I was sent home from work cos I was ill. I'm glad I was tbh cos I needed the sleep I got. Slept most of the afternoon and got about 9-10 hours last night...woke up today feeling a million times betterer tho still not great, but more than ready to face the world.
Drove up to Rah's. Which was fun. Cos there were roadworks and queues making my 2 hour journey closer to 3... Got there without getting lost. Yay for seeing Rah again :) She's nice. Met foo...and I talked :/ I'm pretty sure I looked like an idiot cos I got nervous and stuttered some and kept restarting my sentances :( Hevean only knows what he made of me. Anyway, he lent me narnia DVD's. Which I could rip them but I can't do that kinda stuff :( Still, will be great to watch :D Spent a lot of time talking to the best man (Tim?) who was nice and as people overwhelmed as I was. The best bit was at the end when Rah and foo and tim and Hannah (or Anna, not sure...Rah's sister) and another random friend of Rah's (all of us similar ages) sat and talked about stuff...it made me sad to go. Incidentally, I think foo is very nice, I like him and he's definatley someone worth getting to know better and having as a friend (if I didn't scare him and he wants to of course), just wish I hadn't been so...nervous me if you know what I mean.
Incidentally foo and rah make a gorgeous couple. They are so obviously in love and so right for one another...I can see now why they're getting married now and not waiting :)
Drive back was mucho faster than drive there buut am knackered now and hands all vibraty from steering wheel...may well collapse in bed soon.
