lizziecI bet noone expected to see an update from me at 2:30pm. Indeed, I wouldn't usually either considering I should be at work at the moment. I got caught up with the second post and came to lunch only 40 mins ago, had foodage with mum then she let me use her login to play on the internet for the remainder of my lunch hour. Needless to say I still don't have my own login. It's very annoying.
As a result of the login thing I'm still getting the most boring jobs. Yesterday was the worst boredom wise and it's possibly for this reason that I was irritable most of last night. Mum and I went to see the recording of Radio 4 show Parliamentary Questions. She'd had the day off but I had to go straight from work and having been bored and irritated all day I was hot and irritated and pissed off at the thought of not going home. In the end I had 5 mins in which I freshened up and was much happier after that. The show was quite good but the wandering through london was the best bit. The temperature was just right and it was quite peaceful by the time we got there. I let my imagination run away with me, but more on that in my update this evening.
Got back to find Phil (even after 3 or 4 warnings) had not changed the channel to tape the programme mum and I were after. We lost the first 15mins to anime and I snapped. I slapped him and we both lost our tempers. Eventually we calmed down and apologised to one another and he typed the plain text for my HTML stuff for me. His typing is faster than mine, a consequence of the training he's had. Anyway, as a result the SU stuff should be done by tonight. It'll be just my luck if alex takes a look and cuts it all cos it's pants. I wouldn't be surprised.
Anyway, I went to the dentist today about my wisdom tooth and the tooth that's growing through the roof of my mouth. He says the wisdom tooth is fine and it'll keep doing that for a while then it'll just fall out. Apparently it's unusal tho cos it has 3 roots not the usual 2. The other tooth is more of a problem however. There's not enough room for it and it'll have to come out so my dentist is referring me to the oral surgeon at Mayday. He was pleased I came when it first showed cos it means there's no rush for anything. Apparently left unchecked it could damage the teeth in front of it, to the point of rotting the root.
On the subject of the dentist, I can't believe how far I've come. This time last year I felt sick at the very mention of the word. Now I can go pre-emptively. I still feel sick and nervous before hand, but my dentist is so nice that I don't feel anything but safe with him. *remembers first visit to him last year and grins* I came out a nervous wreck!
I walked back to the office by the senic route. They knew at work I was going to the dentist so I took advantage of the free break...for a 15min dental appointment I was out 1hr 30mins.
Anyways, I'm almost at the end of my break so I'm gonna wander off now. Part 2 of the long update tonight folks so keep your eyes peeled :D
