lizziecPete arrived Sunday night incase none of you had guessed... Was nice...had cuddles and stuff and had supper thing of cheese and ham sandwiches. Watched 24...was very good! :D Arranged to go to London on Monday to meet up with Tom and generally have a nice day out.
Up earlyish and on train to London at 9.30am. Got to LB at about 10am then had breakfast. Didn't hear from tom so txted and called and then went to the London Dungeons to kill time. Was actually really cool :) Didn't expected it to be that good, esp the bit with the judge...some clueless german was chosen, pulled to the front and accused of fiddling a horse. He hadn't a clue what was going on poor man...it only made it funnier to watch tho :D Got out about midday and got txt from Tom that he couldn't meet us so Pete and I wandered over Tower Bridge and got KFC for lunch from the shop near the Tower of London. I confused the poor man serving us and I had to send him back 3 tiems before I got what I'd asked for. I was quite nice about it tho... :)
After lunch we got Central and District Line Tube from Tower Hill station or sommik to Embankment then changed to Bakerloo Line till Lambeth North and walker from there to the IWM. It was brilliant. Spent at least 4 hours there and I would have spent longer if the museum hadn't closed...
Saw a *fantastic* exhibition. It's all about the poets of WW1. Was so interesting and well worth the entrance fee charged (the museumm is free but the exhib. wasn't)
When finally chucked out of IWM got tube back to Victoria where I got my West Wing Series 2 box set (out yesterday) and had tea at Singapore Sam's. For what it was it wasn't bad. Then train back. Got back with legs feeling like they wanted to die. Collapsed in heap watching an ep of WW with mug of Hot Chocolate and 2 slices of SaraLee Chocolate Gateaux. Eventually slept.
Today already done my driving chores for the morning and now back to bed for a bit I finks. Then cooking shortbread and a short trip to tescos to get more SaraLee for movie watching thing tomorrow with skel. The shortbread is the Priority tho. Hopefully 2 batches should do it.
*Trapper collapses back into nice warm bed.
