lizziecWell after the odd dream I got up and dressed, went to breakfast, picking up my mail on the way (two letters from laura! Yay! :D ) Breakfast was quite nice really considering it's a weekend and w'end breakfasts usually suck. I read the letters while I ate and took me 40 mins! She can really write a lot. They cheered me up no end. I must remember to reply soon.
Then had to go collect a monitor from Alex, so wandered over to pw and carried it back on my own cos potential helpers were still asleep. Arms ache like crazy! Plugged it in to 'pooter and booted into linux and...nothing...that is I still get the scary text screen but the refresh rates aren't right so I can't get into my lovely safe graphical bit... Skel's gonna wander over today and play with my xconfig apparently. So then I can play again!
Then played around on irc for a bit (see? I'm hooked!) and kim suggested seeing "Catch Me If You Can" at the odeon. I agreed and ended up seeing it with JADS and bill and kim. Was great fun, enjoyed the film and then afterwards kim and bill and I acted like hobo's...we sat on the floor in mcdonalds cos there were no seats!
Back here and wandering from Keynes made it to r'ford before my will power gave out and i ended up in ppc room on irc. Then wandered down to see skel, who gave me a login on his box so that i can use irssi instead of mirc. It's so cool! :D Much much nicer than mirc...how am I going to cope in the holidays?! Ducttape is angling for..Tin next I think...must resist...*Trapper tries increacing her will power against geek takeopver of her body*
Jibbled on his lappy for a while and then back here and to bed. Which is where I'm returning to soon. Decided to skip the b'fast thing. I only got up so I could get a newspaper!
