lizziec | A bit about Today

Well, I'm very bored atm cos all my friends seem to be doing stuff so I thought I'd say about my morning a bit. Got up at 6.15am which was pretty good really considering the night's sleep I had. Was about to leap into the shower when I realised someone was already in there - it was becca - she had to leave at 7am to get a train to Cornwall for a funeral so was showering. Anyway, she came out and warned me that there was no hot water but I still went in and you know what? It was frikkin' freezing. Apparently there was no hot water in our block till gone 7.30. Someone will hear about this! Washed my hair as quickly as possible but as I had to put conditioner on was horribly slow. Then boiled 2 mini kettlefuls of water so I could at least was in realative comfiort. Was still bloody freezing tho. Grr...

Anyway walked kids to school with no upsets and then came back and ate lovely brekkie. Then came and played on the net then I went to my lecture. It's about childhood and adolescence in literature and I think it will be really interestig. Just spent £47 on books for it so it had better be! Only downside will be that I will have to do presentations for it and I hate those witha passion. Essays for it are shorter than history ones tho. Only 1500 as opposed to 2000. :)

Eliot Dining Hall jamming session tonight! YAY! :D I've missed them. Highlight of my week really I think. :D
