Hmm...Sunday and beyond

Well a family friend came round but my mood didn't improve one iota so I ended up driving for 2 hours around the Box Hill/Dorking/Epsom areas just cos I couldn't stand being in the house a minute longer. Came backa bit happier but still not 100%. Talked long into the night on irc and decided to go with Sellars to a New Years thing. That about sums up sunday. I can't tell you all how thankful I am that it ended! Seriously not a good day for me.
Monday
Mamma went to work so I had to be up early to take her in. Did this then did some shopping (ick!) cos Canterbury seems to have a negative effect on my jeans and I hadn't a single pair suitable to be worn outside the house, so was wearing a skirt again (bah!). Then I met nert in Thorntons and we jibbled for many many hours. Spent most or the time in the Coffee shop of Thorntons waiting for Kate to finish work getting dissapproving looks from elderly ladies cos after the 1st half hour we'd finished our drinks... Went to HMV and got Queen "The Works" and Bon Jovi "Slippery When Wet" then I gave Kate a lift to Purley and nert a lift home when he kindly burnt me a cd of the nert vids cos they take an age to d/l. I knows. I tried on 5 seperate occasions! Then went and picked mamma up from work. Read for a bit then got the net away from Phil where I played on IRC and msn until the wee small hours. All in all a jibbly good day in which I pulled out of my depression completely.
Tuesday and Wednesday
Well, New Years Eve was quite nice really. Went with mum to Tesco only half an hour after going to bed. Consequently didn't actually go to sleep till 5am. Then I was woken to drive mum to work at 8.30 so did that then (unsurprisingly) went back to bed where I slept till 12.30 when mum phoned to be picked up from work. Then drove and got her and...went back to bed...
Slept till 2.30 when I got up and had a bath ready for going out to Tom's (Sellars) and set a toothbush on fire...
What I did was while I was washing my hair I knocked mamma's electric toothbrush into the flame of one of my candles. Was alerted to this fact by the smell of burning plastic. My first thought was, understandibly I thought, "Bloody Hell". Managed to knock it into the sink and spray it with water and thus put out the fire. Apparently it still works but looking at the state of it I'm glad I don't have to use it.
Then jibbled off to Sellars'. Trains were straightforward enuf and when I got to target station called him. He didn't come meet me but indtead talked me thru directions to his house! Gave him his Birthday Present then we went to the party, picking up one of his friends on the way. Got to place where party was and had a thoroghly nice time. Started drinking at about half eleven with a tiny bit of Archers in my orange juice then switched to Champaign at midnight. Had a quite large glassful then kept stealing Tom's having probably a whole nother glassful in the process...I want to make it clear however that I never danced, despite what Tom says.
At about 1.30 we moved on somewhere else for a kinda drinkin' thing where I fell asleep for 45 mins and woke up with one of the starage blokes attempting to remove my glasses but also clear headed so that was good (I'd been feeling rather drunk upto that point). Tom and I then tried to pursuade his rather drunken friend to come home. Took 3 hours. I'm glad we did tho cos the guys at the thing were offering their beds to sleep in but of all 7 of them only one didn't set off my spidey sense. Got back to Tom's at 5am and slept on and off till 2pm. Then we watched James Bond and ate Cadbury's roses before I raced out in the break in the rain and ran home. Where I had a gorgeous roast dinner. I'm going to skel's tomorrow to sort out the os's for my new computer. I'm trying to avoid actually installing it but he's having none of it...have to see how it goes I suppose. Anyway, that's about it for now, execpt for the fact I'm currently battling ducttape about my geek status. True, It's more or less accepted now but there are points that dt picks up on that seem to suggest that I'm more or less a natrual! eep!
