Forums, Friends and Friday
Saturday, December 28th, 2002 11:20 amWell, I went to see my old school friend, except the one who turned up wasn't the one I was expecting. It was still nice. We talked for and hour and a half about stuff that had been going on. She's at Kings College London studying moosic cos she's super musical. She's very nice and I 'spose we'll keep in touch a wee bit more now. Was going to get a pair of jeans while I was in Croydon but I took one look at the crowds in BHS and decided to leave it until very early one morning before the crowds are out. It looked sheer hell in every shop I walked past. It made me very glad indeedy that I'm not into this sales thingy.
When I got home I watched some tv and read some then I came upstairs and played on my own computer a bit, trying to overcome some writers block on a story I've been writing since I was 14. Then Phil and I switched computers and I played on the net for a wee bit inadvertantly stirring up a hornets nest on one of the forums Phil and I post on. I mentioned Linux and the whole thing kinda took of beyond anything I had imagined.
Mum said she didn't feel like cooking and I was feeling restless so I drove to Purley and got KFC for the family for dinner and hired a couplea dvd's for us to watch. Stuart Little 2 cos mum likes that sort of thing and XMen for me and Philip to watch on our own. Then Philip had his net time and left me to it at about 11.30ish again. I was feeling lonely by this time and had had one of my feelings on a trip downstairs to get a drink so feeling rather lonely and spooked I managed to talk skel into talking to me till gone 3.30am. I can't remember much of the conversation especially towards the end but I felt much better for having someone just on the other end, so thank you skel. I appreicate it. :)
This morning Philip woke me at 10.30 brandishing Pete's christmas card (it arrived! Yay! :D) and a mug of Hot Chocolate. And now I have to get dressed cos I'm off to see LOTR TTT again, this time in Epsom with Phil and one of his friends and his frined's mother. I get to go cos I'm driving him (he's currently sitting here testing all the things his new mobile can do! Eek!). More later but for now...
