Upset

Man, I feel so crappy right now. Really upset, because of the story of two strangers.

Ben found and pointed me first at scarlatti's LJ (read from April 1st up) and then at dougs' lj (read here from the bottom up).

I feel so bad for them, her for a life unforfilled and dying so far away from the person she loves and him for being so far away and unable to help, and then being left with that unfillable void that opens up when someone you love dies. She was so optimistic. And then all that, so quickly.

I just want to cry for them so much. Any words I might have are completely inadequate.

I saw that at about 6am, as someone on my friends list knew them both. I went and read some of scarlatti and dougs's LJs this morning. I don't know how dougs can cope with not being able to be with scarlatti. So sad.

I made sure I hugged kimble extra hard this morning. I don't ever want to take the fact that we're able to be together for granted.

My heart is breaking for dougs right now. It must hurt so much that he can't even be there as she's dying.

kinda puts things in perspective when things like this happen, to make others realise how lucky they are. so sad. her last mood icon on her lj is hopeful.

yeah sure, its from a card game called munchkin (assuming you didnt know that) my friend made it animated. :D
