Went to Sainsburies in New Romney today cos I needed some supplies. Wandered around a bit and found myself in an aisle that does tampons, and there, under the row of tampax was a sign stating that now you could get 250 points on your nectar card for "beauty products". I should point out that it was soley tampons and towels on this section of shelving.

Since when have such things been beauty products? o.O

Someone has been keeping me in the dark ;)

In the Tesco near us they are under a big sign which says "SEASONAL". I took a picture with my phone camera, but it isn't clear that underneath said sign is entirely sanitary towels and tampons...

At least seasonal is accurate in some ways.
