just because u don't have the things I would've answered:
I'd put christmas light stuff on the 4th Advent sunday for no real reason
And we open presents at midnight on the 24th :)

Although in my family we did kinda do some presents before lunch and some after because we'd go visit relatives and be visited by relatives and they'd have more presents.

Christmas decorations go up when everyone is home for christmas, and no one has work anymore.

Most christmas presents are opened during the day, there is a present from the christmas tree to open at about 7pm

Waiting till after lunch is acceptable, if people are happy to do it that way.
