My husband just called me "very nice". I'm his wife - surely he should think of me as more that just nice?! :'(

You should be honoured. "Very nice" is a term which us men don't use often.

Normally we just grunt.

Besides, it's a sort of 'in the middle' response to which surely you can't take offence................ or then again...
