Science Museum
Saturday, April 15th, 2006 01:57 pmIn a new and unusual form of torture, I took Sue's kids to London with
benc,
red_pill and
no1typo. We went to the Science Museum. I had becky, ben took Paul around and Phil corrupted wandered round with Tom.
We had a lovely, if tiring day, and Paul got 8 stickers for being good.
Pictures are here and here.
In other news, ben has a new camera, so expect lots of new pictures on his website as he practiceswilly waving using his camera. Unfortunately he (along with other wonderful members of UKC computing staff including
fooflington) has been working since 6am this morning because Seeboard need to do stuff with campus power* so he hasn't been able to play as much as he wanted. I've also been up since then, but have yet to rival the amount of coffee he has ingested, so I may be off for a sleep soon.
We saw in town a new kitchen shop in the Buttermarket (near the Cathedral and Starbucks). It's so cool, and highly reccommended.
To finish, a picture that Paul has drawn of me (he drew it when he got home from the Science Museum:
.jpg)
Lizzie, by Paul, Age 5
This rather rambling entry has been brought to you by sleep deprivation and cool kitchen utensils.
* (don't know if that has anything to do with the fact that our power at home, and to most/all of Rough Common was off for over an hour this morning [though at a different time], but it seems rather likely. Bloody Seeboard.)
