Six Months Married
Friday, March 3rd, 2006 08:15 pmWell, as of today I have been married for six months :D
Ben took me to Cafe de China where I ate my own weight in pork dumplings. On the way back Ben got some Cherry Garcia (Ben and Jerry's) and I got Green and Black's Chocolate Orange ice cream of death. Num.
We talked alot about what we remembered from the wedding day and we finally got round to telling each other stuff that happened on the day that we had noticed and not mentioned that day from the times when we were apart.
For those who missed these first time round, or want another look there's link to wedding video here (if Pete hasn't removed it already) if you want to watch the proceedings ;) Official Wedding Pictures are still here.
It's funny that the thing I remember best is the sermon. Ancient Corinth indeed.*
I still can't believe it's been six months :D
I'm very happy right now :o)
*I'm still shocked that noone walked out when he started on that! I think he offended most of our friends ;)

Date: Fri, Mar. 3rd, 2006 08:54 pm (UTC)Yay you! Woop!
*dances*
I'm still shocked that noone walked out when he started on that!
*Any* other situation, I'd have stomped out by the most circatious(sp?) route possible and sworn loudly in the porch so it would have echoed round the church.
But none of us would have missed your hitching for the earth :)

Date: Sat, Mar. 4th, 2006 07:00 am (UTC)2. You outside the church demanding to be let in because you wanted to get married NOW even though your guests were still arriving.
3. You and Philip turning into the aisle, no mother could have wanted lovlier children - and I'll say it now though I made an effort not to say it then. Your dad would have been (is?) so proud of you both.
4. the look on Ben's face when he saw you
5 in the second hymn hearing Beatriz singing and knowing that she and Richard had arrived safely
oohh other odd things - lots of them
all eclipsing the silliness of the vicar
OOh and of course turning round when you were signing the register and seeing a sea of lovely smiling faces
You ought to get people to e mail their memories of it to you and collect them on a web page
