Ok - I need help, lovely friends list.

I'm working clearing and we all have to wear these stupid tshirts with the Kent logo and clearing number on when the lines go live so we look good when the TV crews turn up. The problem is that they only have the tshirt in two sizes and mine is just a bit too small (it goes on but squashes my boobs and enhances other lumps I'd rather pretend didn't exist).

Your challenge should you choose to accept it, or know how the hell to make it look better (please) is tell me how, with the 24 hours I have, I can stretch this tshirt just enough so it doesn't squish my boobs and enhance those nasty lumps.

Cookies go to anyone who can help.

I suspect the answer may be 'gaffer tape'

Or boil-wash the shirt, blame the landlord's washing machine, and wear something else.

My suggestion: Get a plain T-shirt in the same colour that /is/ your size and does fit. Cut the logo/telephone number etc off the official one. Sew it on in the corresponding place. TV won't show that much detail so long as it doesn't get RIGHT close up, and the seams won't show.

Alternatively, tear open the side seams up to the armpit, and sew on triangular panels to add some more inches. (This idea is off the top of my head though, I've actually done the one above).

Not the same as stretching, but I'm not sure how far you can coax cotton.

sounds like you need to go out and buy some spanx! actually, do they sell those in the uk? if they do, go out and buy a pair. they're a little bit on the expensive side, but they'll seriously save your life.

OR

if you don't want to spend any money you can always wash the shirt in cold water, stretch the hell out of it, and then hang it to dry. you'll need to iron it in the morning because it'll look all wrinkled and deformed. use a cool setting though because any heat could make it shrink again.

strech it the old fashioned way

otherwise, for the bumps, bandge tightly your abdomin, that might help. ducttape could work. get ben to where it for a bit, that should genunly strech it.

Bigger T-shirt, cut the logo out, and a quick stitch!
Hopefully that would do the tricks :)
