An Update :o

Firstly, Ben and I have moved into the flat (yay!) and will be finally getting White Goods (fridge freezer and washer dryer) on Monday \o/ - you don't realise how fantastic the invention of the fridge was until you are stuck in the middle of summer (well almost the middle of summer :P) without one ;) I'd put the fridge right up there with Central Heating.
Housewarming soon (promise!) and address and phone number in privated entry to follow this ;))
Secondly, I have been contacted by the National Blood Service Bone Marrow Register because, apparently, I am a preliminary match with someone. This was quite a surprise to me ;) I'm going along to St Georges Hospital, Tooting on the 13th of June to have another blood test. If everything checks out there then I will be donating some of my bone marrow to someone who needs it.
Just thinking about it makes me go all squishy!

Some time ago you very kindly volunteered to be a bone marrow donor and your tissue typing details were entered onto the national bone marrow donor panel known as the British Bone Marrow Registry, or the BBMR.
I am now writing to inform you that preliminary results have shown that your tissue type may match that of a patient requiring a bone marrow transplant. With this in min it is therefore necessary for me to ascertain if you are still willing to be a bone marrow donor. If this is still a consideration for you we would like to ask you to give a small blood sample for further compatability testing. I am also enclosing our new bone marrow leaflet as a reminder of information about The British Bone Marrow Registry and you part in teh process. However, if your personal circumstances have changed and you are no longer able to be a bone marrow donor we will of course understand and remove your name from the BBMR.

Thirdly, the unveiling of the "Deep Throat" who revealed the involvement of Nixon in Watergate has taken place. This is also something that has made me kinda fuzzy inside. This is always something I remember mum being interested in, and I think I see why. I see it as a defining moment in American politics. It's good to see the person taking the credit he deserves.

Just because you do not conform to the same laws and rules as everyone else does not mean that you are a bad guy. You travel your own path, separate from those around you, with your own reasons for doing what you do. Because of this and your own nature, it goes without saying that you are generally misunderstood. That does not matter much, though, as people love you for being who you are. You are pretty well set in your ways and have no real intention of changing. This can come across as a flicker of arrogance if your not careful. You do what is right for you, and God help anyone who stands in your way.
