Putting things in perspective

I complain about my job alot sometimes. The hours suck, the work is hard and the kids are often ungreatful. Then I come across something like this blog that puts it all in to perspective.

That blog is written by a lady who is a transplant co-ordinator. She spends her days and nights constantly on call or talking to families who are often very vulnerable about a subject that can be incredibly delicate. After all, you're speaking to people whose relatives and loved ones have techincally died and then you are asking them, while they are still in a state of shock, if you can take their relative away to "die" somewhere else - in a good cause - but still away from the family. What do you say to them?

I can't even begin to consider how I would go about doing that kind of job. This woman has my utmost respect. It certainly makes teaching even the most challenging class seem almost easy.
