Yesterday was supposed to be semnar but the d00d didn't turn up cos he was ill apparently so turned out it wasn't on after all ;)

Late night at work cos of sue having meeting. Kids really missing their father while he's in liverpool...need to think of creative ways of channeling it cos atm tom's horribly withdrawn and beks is uber sulky and whiney...any ideas appreciated... I was thinking maybe some notebooks and nice pens so they can write and draw journals or something? Hrm...something to think on anyway :/

Had dinner in origins which was nice even tho fajitas seemed hotter than usual. Saw Paul Mutton and a whole load-a other people I didn't recognise. Then choir which was quite good in the end :) Back to 19b where I dug my heels in and was stubborn which I'm paying for this morning...

I found this article very interesting :)

To make it a bit different could they do a typed journal entry on the computer, draw a picture, and perhaps tape songs or something for him.

You could get Paul to do that as well in the mornings before Sue goes.

ok here goes:

outside stuff (cos it makes them tired and normally less argumentative:

race them on bikes (or set them to race against each other) with different challenges (round a tree, as close as you can without falling off etc).

Football is always good, you stand in 'goal' and not do anything, they prolly will kick it straight at you anyway.

Get them to see how many times they can bounce a ball and not loose it (one each is even better cos they'll compete for hours).

Inside stuff:

Let them play games on your phone.

Let them use *your* pens for their homework (especially Becks).

Gget them to make a card or something for when their Dad gets home.. cards are good but so are 'what I've been doing' dairies cos they last longer.

If they have beads or playdough or something like that, get them to make something special for their mum (cos she is missing Daddy too...).

If none of these work feel free to ask for more ;)
