lizziecWell...that was a good weekend ^.^
Saturday was lovely. Ben and I started fat copying to another harddrive and then walked in to town where we did many hours of just wandering around. Had starbucks, got a new phone, wandered round The Natrual World and Hawkins Bazaar (:P) then had dinner in pizza hut and as we came out there was a busker. I listened for a sec and the realised he was singing a song I adore (ben does too :))
It's called Your Winter and is by a band called Sister Hazel. We went and gave him some money, he asked us if we had any requests and we asked him to play it again. SO he did and we stood there for a good 3 mins or so listening to it...it was cold, it was rainy and I didn't care or really notice. At the end he told us we'd made his day. Kinda appropriate seeing as he made ours :D
We reformatted windows off my hard drive and replaced FAT32 with ext3. Then we wandered up to rough common and looked after Ili and Danni for a few hours. Watched The Longest Day and did some work. Just spending time with ben was nice tbh.
Sunday started early as I woke myself up at 7:30am and then stayed awake. Got lift to church from Richard and Gordana and was glad I had...was the family service which is always a lot of fun. Liam and rudolph ben (and someone else) were involved in a sketch that had most people almost rofl.
The worship was good. Also now have music so I can practice for carols on the 21st. A bit apprehensive about that actually cos it's the first time I'll have played it in public in...well, a long long time.
Got back from church and cooked lunch for ben and I, then we spent the afternoon together. He rebuilt my kernel and I procrastinated...
Kernel from debian has killed pippin rather effectively tho :(
Got 1/3 of essay done.
Ben stayed till I was asleep :) I like when he does that. He's also getting really good at back massages :D
Anyway, gotta go cos it's 7:01 and I'm not even slightly ready for work...
