Mum died this morning

Mum died in hospital today, at just gone 10am. The hospital kept her as comfortable and free from pain as they could, and the staff were fantastic. In the end, she just stopped breathing. We saw her after and she looked very peaceful. Details of the funeral to follow at a later date for those who are interested.

I'm so sorry, Lizzie. Apologies if this sounds clichéd but at least she isn't going to have to suffer a long drawn-out illness, but I know that that doesn't make the loss any easier to bear.

Lizzie, I am so, so sorry to hear that. All my thoughts are with you, and the rest of your family. Grief is going to feel different for everyone, but do take care of yourself and take time whenever you need to, it's so important.
