heya, I used to have bad dreams a lot too. I know it sounds cheesy but I pray and they don't happen - if I wake up in one or I'm scared I'll have one when I go to sleep I just say 'Jesus keep me safe from bad dreams' or 'In the name of jesus, bad dreams don't affect me tonight'. And I invariably don't have them then.
Which is fantastic.
