answers to my lies meme

1. I was suspended from school for fighting - FALSE - I only got a week of litter duties. The other girl got suspended ;)
2. I once cut my own fringe and hid the pieces of hair in an envolope in the hall - TRUE - It was while my mother was out and I was so horrified I tried to hide the evidence. I looked like I had a squashed hedgehog on my head for two weeks afterwards.
3. I threw up over my brother - TRUE - I was quite small and my tummy ached so I went to sit on the loo. WHen Phil came to see what was wrong I threw up over him.
4. I got the highest marks in my year in a french exam - TRUE - It was my year 9 french reading exam :P
5. I wanted to be an opera singer - TRUE - I rekkon if I'd been dedicated enough I could have done it too :)
6. I wanted to go to University at BYU (if you don't know, google ;)) - TRUE - I wanted to go to BYU after my mission when I was a very committed member of the Mormon church. Glad I didn't ;)
7. I was born in Yorkshire - FALSE - I was born in St Georges Hospital, Tooting (the London Borough of Wandsworth). I have, however, been told I was concieved in Yorkshire ;)
8. I once got so cold waiting for a train to college that I put my gloves on my feet - TRUE - Was on my 17th Birthday. I spent 3 hours waiting for a train that turned up with 4 carriages (for all the people who had turned up in those 3 hours and stayed...). I sat in the goods van and got serenaded by some hippies with guitars. I should have just given up and gone home after the first hour ;)
9. I support Crystal Palace football club - FALSE - I support Charlton Athletic :)
10. I've been using Linux for 5 years - FALSE - I'm just past my second "anniversary" of having Linux installed on my computer, so I'm now into my third year of using it. It's all

11. The film Gallipoli gave me nightmares - TRUE - It upset me so much my mother complained to and about my history teacher who showed me the film ;)
12. I got engaged in Canterbury High Street - TRUE - yup. Somewhere close to the Westgate end IIRC :)
13. I've been in the mormon temple twice - TRUE - Once when they were refurbishing it and once to do baptisms for the dead
14. My best friend and I once cooked my parents a three course meal - FALSE - no, we were quite young at the time and put some hot water in two bowls and added herbs and spices. I really pity more poor parents now! ;)
I think mine were too easy :(
In other news Paul Mutton is on /. again for his article on how 99.9% of the chatter on the top 60 irc channels is about illegal activity and I have an essay to write :(
I also have new glasses but noone has noticed ;) Must be cos they suit me or something. One day I'll wear glasses that don't suit me and shock you all! ;)
