lizziecWell, London was fun :) Having been to work (for the last time this term \o/) and given the kids their pressies (a science experiement thing and a book about princesses) I came back down arriving at 19b before 9am :) Then ben came over and we met foo^rah at the end of the road and wandered down to have a beano's breakfast >:) I ated all of mine :D
Got a very slow train to Victoria and then the tube to South Kensington. Then we spent hours and hours and hours in the Science Museum, and saw the LOTR exhibition (doooooooooooooooood!) before finally being ready to drop. We poked our noses into the V&A and saw their crystal christmas tree (again, worth poking our heads in for :D) before jibbling off to Trafalgar square. Twas very pretty...I like the christmas tree there and the story behind it is one of my favourites.
Got train back to canters and cheated slightly ;) Got a taxi back from the station to save our weary weary legs :D Then kudos and then bed (oh so ready for bed by this point ;)
Twas a very very jibbly day :D
Yesterday was spent trying to sort stuff for coming home today...much washing and tidying, broken by foodage in whitstable >:) Also had cause to rememeber how much opac and the templeman in general sucks (1 book where it was supposed to be out of 6).
Food at 5geeks and some stargate, then made sure ben was asleep and came back to 19b..having sorted my bedclothes now I think it's time for bed...
