Went in to Woolworths again the other day, had the feeling of the vultures circling, as Ben so excellently put it. He took a proper camera so I can share the sense of emptiness there.

The worst thing about our trip to town though, was this little gem that we saw at the building site in the middle of the high street - for those who know Canterbury, it's where Boots used to be (opposite LloydsTSB). It's a proper sign printed on aluminium and clearly cost more than some guy scribbling on some cardboard or something. Which leads me to wonder why during the process of producing the sign and displaying it, no one involved noticed.

ETA: Have some more gratuitous gerbil pictures to finish with :D
