New Shoes?
Monday, February 27th, 2006 02:49 pmWell that's what I call a successful day :D
I had to go into Uni for a tutorial and afterwards Ben (who had the day off :D) and I wandered the town, mostly because today was my day to get some new, sturdy shoes before I have to go back in to school on Wednesday. I found a pair in Sole Trader that were just perfect: a pair of Doc Martens that were suitable for school :D
Piccies of my new shoes are here. They are lovely - sturdy, comfortable, tough, while still looking really pretty (I think ;)). Unfortunately DM boots don't tend to go down to well at school :D Luckily fairly cheap too - £39, or £29 for the loafer style. I want more pairs like this in different colours now :D

Afterwards, on our way back from lunch at Nandos we ventured in to Mevthens were books are now reduced by 50% in their closing down sale (less than two weeks to go now) and I brought 1 book for "me" and 4 course books for "teacher me". I'm feeling very bouncy indeed. Like new books, especially ones as cool as some of these are :D
Just a pity they have to close really.
And Finally: Reason #4572 why you shouldn't buy your parents a scanner for Christmas (oh the ramblings in my year 4 school diary ;))
