benc decided to do something nice and as we had spare eggs and it's rather horrible out there we chose to make cake. We shopped for chocolate chips and made a 6oz Chocolate Chip cake.
It's very nice ;)
Before it went in the oven
Just cutting into it
Cross section (it's funny to see how the chocolate chips have stayed at the level they were went it went in the oven and the rest of the cake has risen. It's created a rather amusing effect - wonder if there's a way to make the chips rise with the cake?)
Spending today watching Ancient Rome: The Rise and Fall of an Empire on UKTV History. It's very good :)
