A Followup

lizziecAs I mentioned in this entry I was contacted by the BBMR (British Bone Marrow Register) about being a preliminary match for someone. Yesterday I went and had 10 tubes of blood taken for more matching and nearly fainted twice :P Got roundly told off by the nurses for having nothing to eat or drink before ;)
Anyway, I've had blood taken, now just have to wait a few weeks to find out if I'm a match. I hope I am - I'd like to help someone to live...
