lizziec | Yesterdayyyy and Todayyyy

Yesterday I spent finally deciding on a dissertation title and pissing around PPC rooms with Phil. He came to work with me both times and the kids took to him really well :) He's excellent with children. Had lunch in Pizza Hut in town with Bethan and ben finally got his new glasses. Much fun was had by all :) Evening was spent watching CSI and eating sausages and jacket tatoes for tea. Very nice :D

Today, well, woke up as usual, despite early wakefulness. Ignored first alarm clock but got up to the sound of the second and was thus able to nip the 3rd in the bud. Swore lots then danced cos I realised it's the last time for 10 whole days I have to be up at that stupid time :D Went to work yaddayaddayadda ;) Met ben outside the lib and then went in to work on dissertation summary and sample bibliography, due in by close of play today. Procrastinated in a sulky fit for two hours cos ben was off at an all day XML course then worked solidly for an hour to get the bibliography done. Then I started on the synopsis but got writers block. Rah helped me through it, directing my energies in the right directions till my words came back to me :D

Phil spent the day at franklyn road watching anime. A big thank you to all the occupants at 58fr, especially Mark who fed him lunch :)

Finished work just in time for lunch which I had with foo, rah and Ben Tanner in origins which was lovely and filled a large hole in my tummy :)

Had moment of panic just as I was printing diss stuff cos I ran out of printer credits and was late for work. Rah helped out :) She's been an excellent friend to me today. Manged to hand it in and rush to work, getting there just in time, thank goodness.

Spent the evening at ben's, eating pizza and chips and watching School of Rock which was far better than I thought it would be. A truly good (if predictable), escapist film :)

Bethan goned home. Was good to see her. Need to see her more ;) Was good to be able to put her up so she had less to worry about...and no, hun...you weren't antisocial or anything...honest!

So now, to bed....and if the weather is fine, tomorrow to whitstable :)
