Excel - why do you do that?!

While working I just noticed something - perhaps someone can explain to me why it happens.

When using Excel (as I frequently do at work) I had 3 or 4 documents open at once. I closed one and they all closed.

Why does it do this? It's really really annoying! It doesn't even happen in Word! Granghgharagrgy!!

Stupid M$ shite :|

It *is* annoying and it fucks me off too. You can close windows in word in that fashion so why not excel? This says a bit about standardisation.

Stupid Microshite.

I have also noticed this. I found the best way around it is to use ctrl+f4. I wonder if it's fixed in office 2007...

You answered your own question. M$ products. Saying that, Open Office is the free, buggier version, so hardly better.
